Alleged Black Lives Matter and anti-police attorney in New Orleans has been indicted for wire fraud

A federal grand jury indicts a New Orleans lawyer who prosecutors say stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from a client’s family.

Tanzanika Ruffin Allegedly spent the money on lavish vacations, hair weaves, food and jewelry.

“Defense attorney Tanzanika Ruffin is charged with wire fraud. Prosecutors say she stole $250,000 and spent it on personal expenses. They say she lied about what the money was for. She’s ordered to surrender any of her property related to the allegedly stolen money.
