Congressman Jamie Raskin has been ordered to repay the federal government $304,000

Congressman Jamie Raskin has been ordered to repay the federal government $304,000 he took from the illegal student loan debt relief program for his daughter's tuition to Stanford.

"Mr. Raskin knew the program would be shot down," wrote 14th District Judge Joseph A Barron, "so he pushed his application through using his position."

Raskin's defense was that the program was perfectly legal when he took the money.
"That defense is summarily rejected."

The judge also noted that the Raskins are worth more than $14 million and shouldn't have qualified in the first place.

A kindergarten teacher in Cincinnati named Corinne Baum has been fired

A kindergarten teacher in Cincinnati named Corinne Baum has been fired after a video surfaced in which she expressed disappointment that President Trump was not assassinated.

The remarks drew widespread outrage from parents and the public, leading to swift action by the school.

This incident has renewed concerns about the kind of individuals being hired to teach young children and the importance of screening for extreme views in education.

Another example of accountability catching up with inflammatory rhetoric.

A pair of Democrat officials have been arrested on felony voter fraud charges

Jacqulyn Boone, 51, the former mayor fo Fort Deposit, and Steven Thigpen, 49, a city council candidate, each face one count of unlawful use of absentee ballots.

Boone won the election in 2020 and was the first Black female mayor of the town.
Thigpen ran for a council seat in District 2.
Both were declared winners in August of last year.

Boone took the mayor’s race with about 64 percent of the vote. But lawsuits filed by the Town of Fort Deposit and a local citizen, Faye Finney, led to court review.

Circuit Judge Cleve Poole ruled in October 2025 that more than 400 absentee ballots were invalid because Boone and Thigpen had witnessed the ballot affidavits in violation of Alabama law that bars candidates from serving as witnesses on absentee ballots.

The judge threw out the election results for the mayor’s race and the affected council seats.

A special election was ordered and held on January 13.

Madelene Means defeated Boone for mayor, winning about 57 percent. Thigpen withdrew from the council race before the redo.
Boone and Thigpen were arrested and face up to 10 years in prison.

USAID Food Being SOLD in a Haitian street market

USAID has provided hundreds of millions of dollars in aid to Haiti. We now know that this food is not used to feed the hungry, but is instead sold for profit, at the expense of the US taxpayer.

Gov. Spanberger promised “affordability.”

Instead, Virginians got 50+ new tax proposals, an 11% tax on guns and ammo, politicians voting themselves a 278% pay raise, a “sanctuary governor” label from DHS, and some of the most radical anti-gun bills in state history.

If you want leaders who protect your rights instead of punishing law‑abiding gun owners, now is the time to get informed, get involved, and stand up.

Two birthright citizens, born to illegal immigrant parents from China, tried to bomb an Air Force base on American soil

The Chinese-Americans accused of attempting to explode an IED at MacDill Air Force Base Visitor’s center in Tampa were anchor babies for illegal parents, the Daily Wire reports.

DHS nabbed the duo’s parents, Qiu Qin Zou and Jia Zhang Zheng, on March 18 for illegal entry.

The parents applied for asylum in 1993, but were denied by an immigration judge, who issued them a deportation order in 1998. The Board of Immigration Appeals repeatedly denied their attempts to have their case reopened.

Despite the repeated denials for status, they remained in the US.

Democrat judge restricted Republicans from certain poll watching activities

Democrat judge restricted Republicans from certain poll watching activities for over 35 years, without enacting the same restrictions for Democrats
Democrats had been renewing the injunction for decades.

A New Jersey judge restricted the Republican National Committee’s ability to conduct “ballot security” operations, including coordinated poll watching and voter eligibility challenges, citing voter suppression and intimidation.

However, Democrats didn't have the same restrictions placed on them.
Conservatives argued this consent decree, imposed after a 1981 Democratic lawsuit, was another example of how democrats weaponized national elections by limiting GOP oversight in polling places, especially in Democrat strongholds.

After his death, the case was sent to John Michael Vazquez (appointed by Obama)
When Democrats petitioned him to renew, he said he didn't find 'sufficient evidence' of violations by the
Republicans asking,
“Where is the evidence that there [was] suppression going on on Election Day, and then a reasonable inference that the RNC was involved?”

Judge Vazquez allowed it to expire at the end of 2017.
Republicans said the 2020 election was the first time in almost 4 decades where the national party could freely deploy trained poll watchers without prior court approval.
