COURT RULES FEDERAL GOVERNMENT CAN DEPORT ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS, EVEN IF LOCAL GOVERNMENTS OBJECT

 A 3-judge panel from the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the federal government can deport people residing in the U.S. illegally, even if local authorities try to block them.

The case involved King County, WA, which banned ICE flights from using its airport. The court said this violated federal rules and an old agreement allowing the government to use the airport.

This ruling confirms the federal government’s power over local immigration policies.

Illegal immigrant from China shipped weapons to North Korea from California: DOJ

According to a new federal complaint filed in the Central District of California, Shenghua Wen, as well as other unnamed co-conspirators, "successfully exported at least two shipments of firearms and ammunition to North Korea by concealing the items inside shipping containers that were shipped from Long Beach, California, through Hong Kong, China, to North Korea."
