The Illegal migrant superintendent- Ian Roberts - has been a registered Democrat since 2012 in Maryland

Des Moines Public Schools Superintendent Ian Roberts, recently detained by ICE has been confirmed as an active registered Democrat voter in Maryland.
Reports show the registration dates back to at least 2012, raising questions about how illegal migrants can vote in Democrat-led states – despite repeated claims from the left that non-citizens don't vote.

Roberts, a 54-year-old illegal migrant from Guyana, was arrested by ICE after a high speed chase in Iowa.
Federal officials described him as a "criminal alien" who had been living and working illegally in the U.S. for decades.

Roberts came into the country 1999 on a student visa, but he overstayed his authorization. An immigration judge issued a final order of removal in May 2024.

Public records from the Maryland State Board of Elections show Roberts as an active registered voter affiliated with the Democratic Party.
Insiders familiar with the law firm representing Des Moines Schools report that Roberts possesses a

Maryland-issued ID
To get the job as the Iowa superintendent in 2023, Roberts claimed he was a U.S. citizen on his state licensing application.

The Iowa Board of Educational Examiners revoked his license on Monday, citing the misrepresentation, and the school board placed him on unpaid leave after people protested.
ICE agents discovered a loaded handgun, a hunting knife, and $3,000 in cash in Roberts' district-issued vehicle.
