Carias-Interiano was arrested in West Haven, Connecticut, and charged with first-degree aggravated sexual assault and first-degree unlawful restraint.
He allegedly walked up to a woman jogging in Fort Hale Park, New Haven, threatened her with a box cutter, forced her into nearby woods, and sexually assaulted her.
He is being held on a $750,000 bond.
