Boone took the mayor’s race with about 64 percent of the vote. But lawsuits filed by the Town of Fort Deposit and a local citizen, Faye Finney, led to court review.
Circuit Judge Cleve Poole ruled in October 2025 that more than 400 absentee ballots were invalid because Boone and Thigpen had witnessed the ballot affidavits in violation of Alabama law that bars candidates from serving as witnesses on absentee ballots.
The judge threw out the election results for the mayor’s race and the affected council seats.
A special election was ordered and held on January 13.
Madelene Means defeated Boone for mayor, winning about 57 percent. Thigpen withdrew from the council race before the redo.
Boone and Thigpen were arrested and face up to 10 years in prison.

USAID Food Being SOLD in a Haitian street market
USAID has provided hundreds of millions of dollars in aid to Haiti. We now know that this food is not used to feed the hungry, but is instead sold for profit, at the expense of the US taxpayer.
Gov. Spanberger promised “affordability.”
Instead, Virginians got 50+ new tax proposals, an 11% tax on guns and ammo, politicians voting themselves a 278% pay raise, a “sanctuary governor” label from DHS, and some of the most radical anti-gun bills in state history.
If you want leaders who protect your rights instead of punishing law‑abiding gun owners, now is the time to get informed, get involved, and stand up.

Two birthright citizens, born to illegal immigrant parents from China, tried to bomb an Air Force base on American soil
The Chinese-Americans accused of attempting to explode an IED at MacDill Air Force Base Visitor’s center in Tampa were anchor babies for illegal parents, the Daily Wire reports.
DHS nabbed the duo’s parents, Qiu Qin Zou and Jia Zhang Zheng, on March 18 for illegal entry.
The parents applied for asylum in 1993, but were denied by an immigration judge, who issued them a deportation order in 1998. The Board of Immigration Appeals repeatedly denied their attempts to have their case reopened.
Despite the repeated denials for status, they remained in the US.
